MULTI-MEDIA GROUP SHOW IN ATRIUM GALLERY AT YJCC
Photography by Cosimo Scianna, paintings by Irwin Goldman and works by Russian-born artists represented by Yelena Istratov, A.I.D. will be shown in the Atrium Gallery at the Bergen County YJCC from June 5 through June 29. The public is invited to an opening reception for the artists on Thursday, June 5 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the YJCC, 605 Pascack Road, Washington Township. HOUSE TOUR TO BENEFIT BERGEN COUNTY YJCC
Some of the most spectacular homes in Bergen County will be open to the public on Tuesday, June 3 for a house tour to benefit the Bergen County Y, a Jewish Community Center in the Township of Washington. The tour begins at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 3:00 p.m.
General admission is $36.00; a $100.00 sponsorship includes breakfast at Seasons restaurant prior to the tour. More...

New Series from Jewish Family Service of Bergen County Explores Issues of Interfaith Family Life
December is not the only time interfaith families face proverbial “dilemmas;” the questions and conundrums may be present year ‘round. YJCC CELEBRATES ISRAEL INDEPENDENCE DAY
It’s Israel’s birthday and we’re having a party! Festivities in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel will take place at the Bergen County YJCC on Thursday, May 8 at 4:30 p.m. The YJCC is located at 605 Pascack Road, Township of Washington. The program is co-sponsored by the Israel Program Center of UJA Federation of Northern New Jersey.

YJCC’S MINDSCAPES EXPLORES HOLOCAUST POETRY OF JACOB GLATSTEIN
The works of Jacob Glatstein, considered one of the greatest Yiddish poets, will be studied in commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day on Friday, May 2 at 11 a.m. at the YJCC, 605 Pascack Rd., Township of Washington. Glatstein viewed his collection of Holocaust poetry, “I Keep Recalling,” as “not only a stimulus to eternal remembrance, but also simply in order to remember and remind everyone that we must not forget.” The class is part of the Bergen County YJCC’s Mindscapes series.
