SPECIAL NEEDS                

The Bergen County Y welcomes those with physical and intellectual challenges.

The YJCC’s program for children with special needs focuses on reinforcing school experiences, developing social and life skills, and creative, social and recreational activities including therapeutic riding, theater, yoga, martial arts, water therapy, cooking, music, art and dance. We provide experiences that are appropriate for children with varying abilities, as well as offering innovative programming for those with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

The YJCC is spacious, wheelchair accessible and barrier-free.
