Periodically during the year and for four weeks in the summer, the Actors’ Workshop at the Bergen County YJCC offers serious New York-style training, along with serious fun.

Artistic director Geoffrey Cantor is joined by other professional actors and performing artists who share their expertise with students, grades four and up. Students develop a unique approach to acting, along with fostering personal skills that transcend the stage, all in a safe, nurturing environment.

Actors’ Workshop Summer Camp
Daily instruction in acting, voice, dance/choreography, plus trips to Broadway/Off Broadway productions, meetings with theatrical agents and backstage visits with working actors fill the days in the Actors’ Workshop 4-week summer program. Campers work on scenes, monologues, songs and routines, culminating in a showcase of their work. This year’s session runs from June 28 through July 23.
