Honorees Recognized at Spring Gala
At a wonderful evening at the Rockleigh Country Club, the YJCC’s most deserving honorees were recognized for their commitment to the YJCC and our community.
Shown, left to right, are Jason and Jennifer Auerbach, Young Leaders; David and Jayne Petak, Community Builders; Ron and Debbie Eisenberg, Couple of the Year.
These outstanding honorees serve as role models and inspirations and the YJCC is proud to have them as supporters.
Thank you to our dedicated and hard-working Gala chairs, Sharry and Mark Friedberg and Joan and Dan Silna, and to Ad Journal Chair Marty Kornheiser for their exceptional efforts.
To everyone who attended the Gala or placed an ad, thank you!.
Welcome Open Hearts, Open Homes Teens
It’s the b’nai mitzvah summer for Open Hearts, Open Homes! The program that offers respite and home hospitality in our community to Israeli teens impacted by violence and terror has welcomed over 300 young people during the past 12 summers.
Now, as we celebrate the 13th year of the program, we again welcome two groups of Israeli teens who again are faced with challenges and threats at home. While these teens embody the resilience of the Israeli people, they appreciate the comfort and support of American families in our own community.
Thank you to our host families and to our donors who make this program possible.
