Birthday parties at the YJCC are a fun and exciting way to celebrate with your family and friends.
Every birthday party at the YJCC is designed to accommodate EACH child’s special needs.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will assist with your party planning.
The YJCC is air conditioned, spacious, wheelchair accessible and barrier free.
Let your child be the STAR OF THE DAY.
Please note: All parties are based on entertainment and YJCC availability, and may be subject to time and date limitations due to previously scheduled use of the facility.

Each entertainer provides an interactive musical party that includes dramatic play, songs, dancing and games.

Sports Party
From obstacle courses to relay races to basketball and soccer, children can play adaptive games in the gym with one of our instructors to supervise and coach. Just tell us your favorite games and we’ll be ready to play!

Have a workout and FUN at a fitness birthday party.
We’ll have adaptive movement and motion personally tailored to fit your child’s needs.

Be dazzled as a top-notch magician comes to entertain.
Great fun with magic and laughter. With lots of guest participation, this party promises to be “magical.”

Every child leaves the party with a project of their own creation!

Amazing Animals
Learn all about mammals, reptiles, birds and insects.
Each party features your own licensed instructor who will take your guests on an educational and fun tour of the animals’ habitats and ways of life.
With more than 30 animals to choose from, each party can be custom-designed.

Birthday Bash!
Have your own DJ party.
Choose from Hip Hop, Karaoke or dancing and games, including popular line dances, freeze dance, Coke/Pepsi, mummy wrap and more. Fun for all ages. You pick the theme.

Party Information
Six to eight weeks before the party:
- Choose from our many exciting parties.
- Confirm your party plans with Gina Wellington, at (201) 666-6610, ext. 268, and remit the $75.00 non-refundable deposit (payable to “Bergen County YJCC”).
- Mail out invitations (available at the Front Desk.

One week before the party:
- Call Gina Wellington with exact number of guests attending the party.
- Arrange all food and beverages with Gina.
- Order your kosher birthday snack.

On the day of the party:
- The party location will be posted on the building’s front door and on the Daily Schedule at the Front Desk. Party room assignments are based on activities at the YJCC, the age and number of children, and the type of party. While we cannot guarantee a particular room, we will try our best to accommodate your request.
- Instruct your guests to go to the assigned party room to leave their coats and gifts. If the activity is not taking place in the same room, the host/hostess will accompany the children to the appropriate area and walk them back to the party room when finished.
- All Snack Bar fees must be paid in cash directly to the Snack Bar before the party family leaves the building.
- One adult chaperone is required for every 4 children.
- YJCC party fees include use of a YJCC party room for 1-1/2 hours. This time limit must be honored because of other scheduled activities. Please leave the room on time. A delay of more than 15 minutes will result in a $30.00 surcharge.
- Tipping of the host/hostess is highly recommended.
- The party host/hostess will take a final count of your guests, and notify the Birthday Party Coordinator.
- Please pay the balance due for your party before you leave the YJCC,(cash, credit cards or checks are accepted). Please be considerate during the party activity. Talking distracts the children from their entertainment.

Birthday SNACK
We recommend individual donuts or cupcakes as a celebration snack.
All food items must be kosher.
