Not only does your membership enable your use of our ultra-modern facility and the opportunity to take part in exciting programs and events, it supports the myriad educational, recreational and cultural programs we offer to children, teens, families, adults, seniors, and the disabled. The David Rukin Early Childhood Center

A child’s earliest years are a time of development and change.
The David Rukin Early Childhood Center nurtures parents and their young children through this exciting period.
Our Parenting Center seeks to help moms and dads cope with early childhood questions, while offering an opportunity to socialize with other parents and children. Our Nursery School’s warm environment provides program materials and activities designed to help children gain skills and knowledge.

Children and Teens

Our Youth Services Department provides enjoyable and creative educational, recreational and social programs for children and teens from kindergarten through high school. Classes, camps and special family programs invite children into the YJCC to grow together.

Adults

The programs offered through the YJCC’s Adult Services Department give our members an opportunity to develop new skills, explore hidden talents and enrich their minds. Classes, programs and events, including ceramics, support groups, Judaic thought and day trips, create personal connections and build community.
We strive to provide interesting and eclectic experiences to enhance your life and broaden your horizons.

Senior Adults

The YJCC’s Senior Adult Department provides opportunities to get involved, expand your creative energies, exercise your mind and body and enjoy a sense of belonging. Hot kosher lunches are available for a nominal fee on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Organized activities, special musical performances, holiday celebrations, trips and lectures comprise this stimulating and lively program.

Health, Fitness & Aquatics

The YJCC reaches out to all who strive to improve and maintain a healthy mind and body. Our premiere fitness and recreation facility includes two strength and conditioning centers, a double-sized gymnasium, three racquetball courts, an aerobics and dance studio, karate school and indoor walking/jogging track. Whether you swim for fitness or fun, our Aquatics Department offers activities and classes for everyone from infants to seniors. Our 75-foot, 6-lane, heated indoor pool is perfect for exercise and recreation, while our children’s pool offers a chance for our littlest members to get accustomed to the water.
