NURSERY AGE CLASSES (AGES 3-5 YRS)

Angel
Watch as your child takes the skills learned in the prior two levels and uses them to leave the Kiddie Pool and begin to swim independently in the Main Pool. Classes are split between the Kiddie Pool and Main Pool, with the last 2 classes held strictly in the Main Pool.

Mako
The main emphasis of class is on deep water exploration and comfort. Practice and refinement of skills already learned is also stressed.

The First Class

Please prepare your child to enter the pool. Children should be dressed in swim attire and must shower prior to entering the pool deck area. Before class begins, the instructors will introduce themselves and review the roster of participants. Your child will follow the instructor to the teaching site.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch the first class only, provided they remove their street shoes, and stand or sit in the designated areas. Parents are not permitted to remain on the pool deck in subsequent classes. Your child’s instructor will be available after class to discuss your child’s growth, or you can make arrangements to speak with him or her at another time.

Missed Classes/Make-Up Policy
See Aquatic Director or Pool Manager.

If you or your child expects to miss the majority of scheduled classes, contact the Aquatics Director immediately as refunds cannot be granted after the 2nd class.
